Very rare to find a place like this , wonderful welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived, the staff were all fantastic and the food did not disappoint, various meals ordered by our party of eight from a superb roast beef to a vegetarian beetroot Wellington all excellent and enjoyed by everyone, we would definitely visit again if in the area.

Great pub with A really good selection of beers. And utterly amazing food menu. Good range of choice and big portion sizes. Tasty and good value for money.

It was a curry night, which is the first Friday of each month, which we didn't know until we got there...and we were a bit disappointed at first.
But no need to be.
The atmosphere was great, the staff were wonderful and the food was fantastic. It wasn't your basic curry at all. Amazing starters and mains. Plus my wife is a coeliac, and the GF options. were fantastic.
The beer was great too.
We had a wonderful evening

Gorgeous pub, excellent food & service. Lunch on Monday was outstanding. A great choice on the menu and reasonable prices too. Every member of staff that we spoke to was lovely. What a wonderful pub. Can't wait to go back.

A justly well known destination pub. Be ready gor it to be vibrantly full. Meal was excellent, particularly the starters despite their price. They would have made good smal plates by size. We were stuffed!

A lovely little pub tucked out of the way, it's a little jem. Quaint in feeling but nice a lively. Went for a birthday dinner and the mutton special was amazing. Locally sourced meat gave this an extra nice bit of a local feel. Staff were busy but still good at serving us and very friendly. Will be recommending and revisiting

Absolutely beautiful hidden gem. Having not long moved to the area I have driven past this place thinking it was a beautiful house but no its a pub. Lovely friendly staff, the food is a tad pricey but you won't be disappointed, it was absolutely lovely and the portion sizes are large. You get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend this pub and they have a lovely outside area which is covered with lights all around.

Loved everything about this pub: a gorgeous, characterful building, great interior decor, friendly and helpful staff and absolutely fabulous homemade food. A lot of the ingredients are locally sourced, some from literally just down the road. Oh, and they're dog friendly too! Highly recommended.

Pub in Uffington stopped in for lunch on Saturday. There was a little wait for a table but it was worth it in the end. We had a lovely table and very pleasant friendly with staff. The food was excellent and came piping hot. Prices may be a little steep for some people, but it’s worth the food quality, we are looking forward to going back for their fish night, steak night or pie night. It’s very worth a stop in
