Churches in Uffington Parish

St Michael and All Angels Uffington

Main Road Uffington
07590 055905

The  church is situated in the centre of the village, 2 miles to the east of Stamford. Uffington is traditionally a farming community with a core of stone built properties, but it now also incorporates many more modern houses. A significant number of the population commute to London. There are two primary schools, both with very excellent reputations.

There are three main hubs in the village; the Church, the Village Hall and the newly re-vitalised pub. In the summer, there is also the Cricket Club. There is a lot of overlap and goodwill between these centres and many events are organised in the village; talks, quizzes, a book club, WI, keep fit classes and the Scarecrow Weekend to name but a few.

The Rector of the Uffington Group, Fr Aran Beesley may be contacted on 07590 055905 or email: [email protected]  especially for Baptism enquiries and visiting those who are ill.
